Congralutations go out to the GCFC Bullets (GC Red) who won the 2012-13 Women´s Competitive Indoor Premier Division Championship yesterday after besting St Thomas in the final on penalty kicks!
Finals Recap:
The final proved to be a nail biter when GCFC took a 2:0 lead, only to see St Thomas go ahead 3:2 before the end of the first half. A late goal tied the game and we prevailed 4:3 in the shootout.
In semi-final action, also played yesterday, St Thomas won against Marconi, while GCFC Bullets (GC Red) was victorious 3:0 against a young and energetic Gryphons team, with all three goals coming late in the second half.
Congratulations, GCFC Bullets (GC Red), for a great effort yesterday and a very good season! The club is proud of your accomplishments.
