GCFC seeking U8 boys and girls (born in 2004 or 2005) for summer soccer!

For the second straight summer GCFC will be providing aspiring U8 boys and girls (born in 2004 or 2005) the opportunity for skills development.
*Limited spaces are available- last years program became full very quickly*
U8 BOYS 2012 SOCCER SKILLS DEVELOPMENT (born 2004 and 2005)
The skills development sessions will be on Sunday evenings (6:30-8:00 pm) and will begin in early Spring 2012. Additional training nights may occur throughout the summer on other occasional weeknights.
Sessions will be run by OSA certified coaches and/or experienced players. The program will end with a year end soccer festival that will celebrate the boy’s technical improvements and achievements.
The cost of the boys program will be $50.

U8 GIRLS 2012 FUNDAMENTALS SUMMER SOCCER PROGRAM (born 2004 and 2005):
The 14 week program will begin in early May 2012 and generally consist of 2-3 soccer events per week (with an approximate practice/game ratio of 2:1). Sessions will be run by OSA certified coaches and/or experienced players. The program will end with a year end soccer festival that will celebrate the girl’s technical improvements and achievements.
GCFC will be adopting the 4v4 (four versus four with no goalie) for game play, and focus on all aspects of the game of soccer including: attacking, defending, passing, receiving, support, penetration, and spreading the field.
4v4 is the smallest sided game you can have that has all the elements of a real soccer match without any of the confusions that surround learning to play soccer (football).
The cost of the girls program will be $150- which will also includes a soccer kit (uniform, ball, etc.).
